Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy can support clients in addressing mental health challenges or working towards personal growth.  Common reasons for accessing therapy include anxiety, bereavement, parenting worries, stress/burnout, low mood, LBGTQ+ challenges, relationship difficulties, infertility, big life changes and more.

Integrative therapy embraces the philosophy that there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to healing.  Instead, integrative therapy is tailored to the needs and preferences of each individual client, drawing upon a range of therapy models and ways of working, to provide a bespoke service that suits you as an individual.

Sessions can be provided in-person or online and clients can benefit from a flexible booking system allowing you to schedule appointments around your wider commitments.

Brainspotting Therapy

Brainspotting is a powerful mind-body therapy that works by identifying, processing and repairing sources of emotional stress, trauma, dissociation and other challenging symptoms.  A non-invasive approach, brainspotting utilises specific points in your visual field to access deeply held experiences, which are then safely processed and desensitised.  This results in a re-balancing in the nervous system and reduction or resolution of associated symptoms.

Brainspotting combines focused mindfulness, relational attunement and brain-based processing.  A huge plus for many clients is that brainspotting can be an effective form of treatment without the client having to discuss vast details of past trauma.  It can be utilised as a stand-alone therapy or alongside integrative talk therapy sessions with equal effectiveness and can be offered in-person or online.

Brainspotting can be used to work on almost any issue but can be particularly effective for individuals experiencing symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, phobias, stress, sports performance issues or low self-esteem.

Professional Practice Groups

In addition to clinical supervision I also facilitate professional practice groups for qualified and trainee therapists.  Professional practice groups are a fantastic opportunity to network with other professionals across the sector, to share best practice examples, to enhance your practice by developing a comprehensive toolkit of resources suitable for your clients and to access peer support to address common challenges faced by practitioners.

At present there are 4 groups running:

- Children & Young People's Workers (x2)

- Trauma Therapists

- Therapists in Training

For more information on professional practice groups, or to join, please get in touch.
